Is your bank account just one big, confusing number?

You get paid. You feel rich for a day. Then bills hit, you buy groceries, you grab coffee, and suddenly you're wondering where it all went. Relying on one "main balance" is stressful. You're constantly doing mental math to figure out if you can afford dinner out. That’s not financial freedom; that’s financial anxiety.

How to Get Started

Set up your Divvy account in just a few simple steps.

1. Set Up Your Accounts

  1. Go to the 'Accounts' page from the main menu.
  2. Click 'Add Account' and give it a name (e.g., 'BPI Savings', 'GCash').
  3. Decide if it needs categories (for budgets) or is a simple balance.
  4. For accounts with categories, click 'Add Category' to create your spending buckets like 'Rent', 'Groceries', or 'Fun Money'.

2. Plan Your Salary Allocation

  1. Navigate to the 'Allocation' page.
  2. Click 'Add New Allocation' and enter your salary amount and payday.
  3. Assign amounts to each category you created. This is your budget plan.
  4. The unallocated amount will go into your 'Income Excess' category, which you can save or spend freely.

3. Track Your Transactions

  1. Go to the 'Transactions' page.
  2. Click 'Add Transaction' and fill in the details.
  3. Select the correct source category for your expense (e.g., spending from your 'Groceries' budget).
  4. The category balance will update instantly, so you always know how much is left.

4. Manage Your Credit Cards

  1. Visit the 'Credit Cards' page and add your card details, including limit and due dates.
  2. Log expenses to your credit card. This won't deduct from your bank categories yet.
  3. When you pay your credit card bill, record it as a 'Payment' from one of your bank categories.
  4. This keeps your credit usage and cash flow perfectly in sync.

Why life is better when you Divvy.

  • Clarity, instantly.

Never wonder if you have enough for rent again. Your essential money is ring-fenced the moment you get paid.

  • Save without trying.

By "divvying" your savings out first, you pay yourself before you have the chance to spend it. Watch your savings grow on autopilot.

  • Guilt-free fun.

Budgeting isn't about stopping spending. It's about spending smart. When you know your bills are covered, spending your "fun money" feels genuinely good.
